I just finished reading an update where Nigeria Army declared the Head of Directorates of States of IPOB; Mazi Chika Edoziem wanted.
It is no longer news that Biafrans living in Nigeria and even those living abroad are no longer safe. As a young man, all that is required by these men in uniform is a bullet on your skull and they tag you the commander of ESN or IPOB member, the next is to assemble their hungry lazy brown envelope journalists to write junk in their usual Nigeria English; how an ESN commander was captured after a fierce battle with the military. So funny!
So many local government areas in Northern Nigeria are under the control of Boko Haram and Bandits presently. The indigenous populations are living in IDP camps while their bigwig politicians are hiding in 5-star hotels in Abuja. Many of them have not visited their constituency in a long time because of terrorist activities in Northern Nigeria.
Unfortunately, these same politicians will be issuing threats inform of Press Statement against the most peaceful mass movement; a global phenomenon known as IPOB. A mass movement led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, hinged on ideals of nonviolence agitation for self-determination and restoration of the ancient kingdom of Biafra.
We rarely see or read riot act or press statement by the military or the Northern political leader and their clerics threatening fire and brimstone against the bandits and terrorists in Northern Nigeria.
I have never regretted the nonviolence stand of IPOB in achieving her ultimate goal of self-determination, but truth must be told; the Nigeria government and her handlers are taking Biafrans for granted. Many of our people have been killed, many are illegally detained without trial. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was kidnapped from Kenya and brought to Nigeria, even after he defeated Nigeria in her own court, they have kept him in illegal detention in DSS custody, undergoing so many human rights abuses in their hands.
Unarguably, the Nigeria security outfits are in the habit of flexing their muscles in Biafraland because they are seeing us as soft targets. They go into our villages abduct young men and women, burn down houses, market and farmlands yet unchallenged, because they understand how peaceful we are by nature as a people even in the face of provocations because of our Judeo-Christian orientation due to Colonisation. But we are not cowards.
Just for the records; self-defence is an inalienable right of any human being. You can’t be killing the people just because they are seeking for self-determination and expect them to remain peaceful, even when you know they have right to defend themselves.
Over 70 million Biafrans will stand up to defend Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Mazi Chika Edoziem anytime any day, and Nigeria Army should remember that the killing of Mohammed Yusuf in police custody was the catalyst that radicalised Boko Haram.
Over 70 million Biafrans will not fail to reciprocate the gesture of declaring Nigeria Army wanted if anything untoward happens to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Mazi Chika Edoziem or any member of their families.
We remain the most peaceful mass movement globally and that should not be taken for granted by any international community let alone that of the expired British contraption called Nigeria.
It is laughable to think that as a military man in Nigeria, you can defeat Biafra and quench the agitation of over 70 million organised Biafran volunteers among whom are intellectuals, scientists, engineers, technocrats and business moguls globally, when in actual sense you are unable to defeat a rag tag Army of Boko Haram and Bandits in Northern Nigeria alone.
